WHO WE ARE<\/h2>\n

Our collaborative encourages all who have a vested interest in farming, agricultural and the well-being of Kern County\u2019s residents to attend to learn more about the initiative and legal services available for immigrants within our community.<\/p>\n

The Immigration Justice Collaborative along with numerous other community organizations will again provide important information to immigrants and non-U.S. citizens about their constitutional rights and what to expect when the new administration issues its immigration executive orders later this month. The information will be provided by licensed attorneys at the town hall presentations.<\/p>\n

Durante la primera y la segunda presidencia de Donald Trump, educar a los latinos sobre la Constituci\u00f3n de los Estados Unidos y las leyes de inmigraci\u00f3n se volvi\u00f3 cada vez m\u00e1s crucial. During the first and second presidency of Donald Trump, educating Latinos on the U.S. Constitution and immigration law became increasingly critical.\u00a0 With heightened\u00a0rhetoric and policies that often target Latino communities such as the “zero tolerance, ” immigration raids, the Executive Order allowing ICE free range on public institutions, many Latinos found themselves facing uncertainty and fear.\u00a0 Understanding Constitutional rights, including due process and protections against unlawful searches and seizure, is vital for ensuring that Latino’s know their rights in the face of immigration raids or legal challenges. The focus of the Immigration Justice Collaborative is to educate, enlighten, and empower\u00a0the Latino community.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
